MADAKARIPURA, in Nagarakertagama, is the land of cultivation which was gifted by the last king of Majapahit Hayam Wuruk to Mahapatih Gajah Mada after the War of Bubat. The exact location has yet to be proven by historians. However, residents around Madakaripura Waterfall, Probolinggo, believe that it was on this land that Gajah Mada last meditated before he died. Madakaripura Waterfall is located about 30 kilometers south of Probolinggo City. To get there, visitors can drive a four-wheeled or two-wheeled vehicle.
